Church Fellowship Is An Hospital!

Updated: Mar 27, 2021

What is a Church?

Many today would say church is the place where people go to worship.

Some say it's a building!

Some say I am the church!

Some would even say I don't have to go to church, church is my heart, I can worship God anywhere.

So many different answer, so many different opinions. But what does God say a Church is?

What is a church really...?

I love this, this is awesome! I love God. God is awesome!

The way He does things, it's always unique and and very interesting.

But He also tells us that the human mind cannot begin to understand the things of God except by the revelation of God, and directly from God, the things of God are spiritually discerned. When I say spiritually, I am referring to the Holy Spirit of God himself. Yes, the Holy Spirit is the greatest teacher. I am honored to be though by Him.

So let's go back and look at our question. What is the church?

The Church is the body of Christ, the body of Christ is the born again saints in Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 12:12-14, 23-24, 27 it is written : For as the body is one and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many are one body, so also is Christ.

Vs 13. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one spirit.. Hallelujah.

Vs 14. For the body is not one member but many. Glory to God.

Vs 27. Now ye are the body of Christ and many members in particular.

So, we see here that God hath chosen it to be so, that when you are born again, you become the member in the body of Christ. See, you could be the toenail, or the finger, you could be the skin, or the foot or the hand, whatever part of the body you are you are valuable and very important to God. See, every part of the body has its right function. You have a position and a very important part or role to play. In the body of Christ no part of the body should be made to feel unimportant or insignificant. You must understand, that you are of the utmost importance and of a great value to God. It does not matter what role you are given to participate in. No person should be looking down at you. The word of God declares: Vs 23. And those members of the body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor, and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. Vs 24. For our comely parts have no need: look at God here: A wonderful loving savoir: but, God tempered the body together, (lol glory to God.. hallelujah. Our God is awesome!) having given more abundant honor to the part which lacked. What an awesome God we serve. Do you see how much God loves us?

So, here we can see clearly what the Church is. When someone says, I don't have to be in church. I don't have to go to church, or sometimes, they would say something like, I don't have to go to the building. I would ask them permission to share the word above with them like this. "Please tell me what you think the church is". I listened, and allow myself to be led by the direction of the Holy Spirit how to bring it to them.

Every person is different. One has to allow the Holy spirit to guide them, so that the person can stop to receive any impartation. Sometimes the Holy Spirit would guide me to bring reference to their natural body.. For example: your body is one, but has many members. God used this principle many times. He used the Natural things to bring out the spiritual, so that the hearer can relate to the things shared, and understand what's been thought to them.

Your toes, your feet, hands and all the members of your body are important. Did you know that if you loose one of your big toes, your entire body would be totally imbalance? The rest of your body would be totally affected by the lost of any limb that is missing. So it is with the body of Christ.

Also the Holy spirit would allow me to make reference to the army. Each person has their post. The ones at the front protects the ones behind them. When there is a missing solder the one behind him will be at risk. He lost his protection, each person has a role. It is very important that each person works together in unity to protect one another. So it is in the body of Christ, everyone has a position, each person has a role, together we work in unity, we watch for one another's soul. Wild animals, the enemy, is lurking out there. The bible declares; that the devil roams around seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8. When you are not at your rightful post, the life and soul of that individual is at risk, and a serious risk indeed. When a man lose his soul, he already lost everything. When he gain his soul, he has won everything. Hence, the reason why God ask this question. What does it profit a man to lose his soul and gain the whole world? What shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Matthew 16:26

Question here is: When a man gain the whole world, can he take it with him even to the grave? One needs to realize that at the end of their time on this earth, one transitioned to the grave, and from the grave, there is going to be a day of reckoning. Now, this revelation came into my spirit one day. When a person pass on, they purchase their last best clothes, the finest coffin and a very big send off to go where? The Question is, is it worth it, to live ones best life in the world and then, dress up to go and spend your eternity in permanent torment? That's a personal question to everyone that is not yet born again. Again! What does it profit a man to gain this whole world, and all it has to offer and then spend eternity tormented? That's what losing your soul is.

I am not sure who that is for, however, that is where the Holy Spirit had just diverted me to go. Let's get back to our topic. Now we understand what church is, we can also understand why Jesus says it like this: I am the vine, my Father is the husbandman and you are the branches .

Now, if a person says my heart is the church, I don't need to go to the building. I can worship God anywhere. The Spirit of God would lead me to this Scripture in John 15:1-6 Now! Why would Jesus say that the church is the branches? Again, let's look at the vine in the natural. What is a vine? Let's use the grape vine. The vine is connected to the root. The vine has the root. The root is in the ground, spreading out and collecting nutrients to distribute through the vine to the branches, and to the fruits on each branch.

Therefore, if you are a part of the church, you are also a branch and your branch must produce fruits, that is why Jesus said: my Father is the husband man that prunes the the branches, Jesus said: every branch that beareth not fruit, he taketh (continuously take away the none bearing branch) away and every branch that beareth fruits he purgeth it, that it might bring forth more fruits. So, Jesus is saying; that this branch must be connected to the vine, and it must be a fruit bearing branch. Okay, so the church is connected to Jesus and Jesus is the head of that church which is His body, (Colossians 1:18) therefore, there is no such thing that; you can be apart of the body of Christ, and not be in the same place as the rest of the body of Christ is. The word of God declares: that the body of Christ is fitly Joined together Ephesians 4:15-1615 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

All of that build up; is to drop this on us. God sent me Down Town Broward Preaching to those that were homeless, broken, hurting , and to anyone else that were in that vicinity. I remembered clearly . when God reveals to me: that the Church fellowship is an hospital.(when the church comes together in one place, not the building. The coming together, in that realm, so you could even say the Church is an Hospital) I said: Oh wow! Yes, the Lord began to edify me. He said; when a soul comes into the church fellowship we the body of Christ, the church must love them, that is a soul. He then showed me how many times a soul would enter into a church fellowship, and was escorted out, by the Pastors, and or leaders which ought not to be, but, they should be embracing that soul and that, that was an opportunity to win a soul for God. But, God said they put the soul back out to the devil to continue to destroy it. God said: that could even be an opportunity to save that life and that soul, but sadly, they were put back out.

Many times he said, it's just because they were broken, in that state of mind, they may have a smell, but of course they would have a smell, they live on the street, but also the the realm that they are living in also has a different smell. They have been beaten and bruised by the enemy of their souls. For whatever reason, they don't look or smell like one of the members at that present time. But, God said, I came for the sinners unto repentance, and not for the righteous. The righteous does not need saving, they are saved by grace.

God says in Ephesians 2: 1-5 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time pass ye walked according to the course of this world, (darkness) according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lust of the flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God! who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith He loved us. Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened(give life to) us together with Christ, (by grace you are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places with Christ Jesus.

Vs 12 says: that at that time we were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. Therefore; who are we; that we should put out a soul that God brought to us to win?.. Many times, God said, they wont come to us, we have to go find them, Jude said: some of them, we have to drag out of fire. However, God would bring us a wondering soul, and we allow it to go away because of a smell, 🤔😳 or some dirty clothe? Would it not be better, if we took that soul to a place to get it cleaned up, to demonstrate the love of God that is present in us? Jesus said: I was hungered and you gave me not to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I was naked and you did not clothe me.🤔 These are the times he is talking about. These people hungry, naked, thirsty, it could be spiritually or physically, whichever the case, we are God's representatives. God is not partial, we must always cease the opportunity to win a soul for Christ.

God is saying my people are important, they are all valuable to me. I would that none would even perished, but that they should all come to know the Lord as their Lord and savior. For God so loved the World, that He gave His only begotten Son, that; whosoever believeth in him (Jesus Christ), should not perish, but have everlasting life. When Jesus went to the cross, He went to the cross for the entire world, and purchase their freedom. On that day he took the place of mankind in hell, He gave them heaven, He took their sin, He gave them righteousness, He took their death he gave them eternal life, He justified them and pronounced them not guilty, He justified them! He paid the price they could never pay and declare them debt free. We were on that day helped, the word of God said abundantly!

In this divine life that God has given to the church. He has given us the privilege to go out and be used by him to bring others in. The church is a refuge, its a place of solace, its a place of grace, a place of comfort. It is where people come to be refreshed, encouraged, healed, delivered, mended, empowered, built up by the word and equip, to continue moving forward and upward. The word of God does all of that for the weary, broken and battered soul. We as the hospital, need to welcome every sick and lame person and nurse them back to life. This kind of reparation, and restoration and healing cannot be done in any other place. Complete wholeness is what Jesus Does. No one else can do that for anyone. Only Jesus!! God himself that puts on flesh to save the entire human race! God loves you. God bless you. Come home to Jesus. come and be made whole.
